God's Application

It is now summer vacation and I am out of school.  However, I am still taking online classes and an Anatomy&Physiology class at the community college.  I am striving to being up my GPA this summer, find a summer job that I will love, and save up money for Fall 2012.

I have applied to about twenty jobs so far, and have failed to hear back from any of them so far.  The hiring process though is a battle between the best  person to hire.  Businesses want to hire those who are highly qualified, meet the requirements, or who would look best in the uniform.

How great is it though that God does not require a Cover Letter or Resume!

One thing all job applications require is the statement of if you are ever convicted of a felony, if you have ever been fired, or you have ever worked with the company before.

One of God's greatest traits is His mercy.

 Numbers 14:18-
“The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.”

God will not penalize us for the "felonies" of sin we have committed.  God will look at our application and not say "Oh, you lied to Suzy in 5th grade.  And, you also did a million other bad things like have steal a pencil one day."

But, He will look at our applications and say, "You are perfected through Christ in my eyes- your record is blank, you soul is pure white."

 Jeremiah 31:3-
"For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more."

What would you say if God did ask you about every sin you have committed?

Another great thing about God, is that he doesn't want the best, the rich, a certain race, or require a certain education level to belong to Him.

God wants you, everyone to follow Him.  He wants us all to join Him in heaven.

God will look at our application though and see if you belong to Him or not.  He will see if you love Him or not.  He wants you to put your home address as P.O. Box Heaven.

He desires us to accept Jesus into our heart.

The Lord your God is with you.
He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you,
He will quiet you with His love He will rejoice over you with singing.

-Zephaniah 3:17

The application to spend eternity with Lord God can be the easiest or hardest application to fill out.  God is the type to hire any who apply though.  All are qualified in his eyes to join Him.

If you find it hard to fill out you application, talk to someone you trust endearly who has a strong relationship with Christ- whether it's your parents, a friend, or a preacher.  Talk to them and ask how they filled out their application, maybe the application process was long and hard for them too.

Romans 8:38-39-
"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Hopefully I will get a job soon, but I already know I have been hired for the greatest position yet- to be a disciple of my Lord God and Savior

Have a blessed day,

<3 KM

Beautiful! I love the truth you've placed in this! It is always so uplifting to read your posts as I have probably told you a million times! Im going to challenge you a lil bit...I do not fully understand the point made in numbers ;) "18 ‘The Lord is slow to anger, abounding in love and forgiving sin and rebellion. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation." (NIV translation sry) How does he punish? Why is he punishing the children for the sin of the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents? Enjoy the hunt/challenge :D I have my ideas but i want to hear yours first <3
