The Virtuous Wife

"Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies.  The heart of her husband safely trusts her; so he will have no lack of gain.  She does him good and not evil all the days of her life...She considers a field and buys it; from her profits she plants a vineyard.  She girds herself with strength and strengthens her arms...She extends her hand to the poor, Yes, she reaches out her hands to the needy. . . Strength and honor are her clothing; She shall rejoice in time to come.  She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness... Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised."
-Proverbs 31:10-31
This passage are just some parts from one of my favorite Bible passages, the Virtuous Wife.  This woman described is the type of woman I hope I can become.

The Virtuous Wife is strong, intelligent, wise, and honors the Lord.

Lately, I have felt opposite of all that I know that God calls a daughter of His to be.

This thing called life calls for us to form relations with others, as well as forming a relationship with our Creator.

How this woman accomplishes all of this, I believe it is all through God!  This woman is one who is to be trusted (the heart of her husband safely trust her), she considers her choices and their consequences (she considers a field and buys it), she is kind to those who have nothing and cannot give her anything back (she extends her hand to the poor).

This Virtuous Wife is the Virtuous Woman I desire to be!

No, it doesn't say that her life or ways are easy, heck- it says that she has strength in her arms and plants vineyards.  Her life was nothing but easy!  She was a woman who cared and provided for her family!

This passage doesn't say, but I bet she was patient as well- she just did not leap from intuition into her choices.

I hope and pray that any young women reading realize that this is true beauty!  Beauty is having love in the Lord!

"Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you" (Matt. 6:33)

The Trinity in Ourselves

Yesterday, I was reading my Bible and came across the verse:
Mark 12:29-31
29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

Verse 30 stood out the most to me, not that loving your neighbor isn't important.  However, I came up with a hypothesis about the Trinity and the possibility of a Trinity in ourselves.

In the Christianity perspective, the Trinity is God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit in which all one is a Supreme, powerful being.  I thought.  And well, I would like to think that Our Heart, Our Soul, and Our mind make up who we are as people in which combined forms a super power in way of Strength.  Maybe that's why the Trinity is made up of 3 separate beings that are actually one!

Think about it, God is the Mind that created us! He is the one that provides us Wisdom and Knowledge!  And, without a Brain (in other words, mind) we would not be able to live, nonetheless function.  I would like to think that the Holy Spirit is in us guiding our soul towards a sound relationship to share with God and others around us.  And last, but not least Jesus is the Heart in us, that relates Him to us physically and emotionally!  Providing the ultimate gift of Love and sacrifice that could ever be given with Salvation.

And, together- there is the strength of all three combined in us and in the Trinity of God.

Like I mentioned previously, this is just a theory.

But, it certainly make me feel closer to God whether it is right or wrong.

This is the Trinity of Ourselves.
